Opening of the "real,- Future Store"

Our new robot systems Ally and Roger welcomed the visitors at the opening day of the real,- Future Store in Toenisvorst May 28, 2008. Together with Dr. Eckhard Cordes (METRO Group) , René Obermann (Deutsche Telekom AG) and Prof. Dr. Henning Kagermann (SAP AG), Roger inaugurated the new hypermarket of tomorrow.

In the future, Ally and Roger will guide visitors to the innovations in the real,- Future Store and will describe the advantages of new technologies in the field of retail.

Mission

MetraLabs develops and produces mobile robot platforms. Our strategy is to combine approved industrial and automotive technologies with cutting–edge research on new software algorithms. This approach allows us to access novel fields of robot application providing stable functionality of the systems. All mobile robots, developed by MetraLabs, meet current European Directives and are approved by German Technical Inspection Agencies (TÜV).

Furthermore, we attach great importance to offer our robot systems on good terms. We design our systems to be highly flexible and expandable by add-ons, so the customer can decide to include the features and functionalities applicable to his requirements only. In addition, we aim to optimize all manufacturing processes.

Our goal is to give our customers the possibility to develop creativity, to generate new solutions for their problems, or to optimize processes.
